Re: How Are You Balancing Muscle Gain, Conditioning, and Symmetry?
I've been using an upper/lower split with a separate conditioning day. It gives me enough room to push progressive overload while still working on my stamina. I also track my weaker muscle groups instead of just training whatever feels good that day.

I stopped taking every set to failure. Leaving a couple of reps in the tank helped me recover better and stay consistent throughout the week.

Sometimes I just need a deload. My body usually tells me before my numbers do.

I’ve noticed my strength most on accessory lifts. My dumbbell rows, RDLs, and pull-ups are way stronger than they were in January, and that carryover is showing up in my main lifts too.

Sleep, food, stress, and training all play a role in recovery. You might handle 20 weekly sets for a muscle during a good stretch, but struggle with that same workload when life gets hectic. I adjust my volume based on performance and recovery instead of blindly following someone else's program.

I pay attention to endurance now, too. I used to think progress was only about adding plates, but being able to finish a hard leg session and still have energy for some cardio is a big improvement for me. Strength, conditioning, and recovery all play a role in how I feel outside the gym.

Greek yogurt, granola, berries, and a scoop of protein powder. Takes like 3 minutes and gets the job done.
