I’ve bounced back and forth between 5am sessions before work and evening lifts after getting off. Mornings feel great once I’m awake and nothing can really get in the way, but man dragging myself outta bed is brutal sometimes. Evening workouts give me better strength and pumps, but after a long day it’s way too easy to say “I’ll go tomorrow” and end up on the couch instead.
Curious what’s worked better for you guys long term. Which schedule actually helped you stay locked in consistently without burning out or skipping half your sessions?
Morning lifters vs after-work crushers what actually kept you consistent?

Morning workouts kept me the most consistent. Once work is over my motivation drops hard.

Evening sessions are way better for strength and pumps for me. Problem is after a long day it’s too easy to skip.

I tried the whole 5am grind because of fitness influencers and lasted like 3 weeks lol. Sleep matters way more than forcing a schedule you hate.

After-work lifting was perfect when I was younger. Now with work stress and responsibilities, mornings are the only way I know the workout gets done.

Commercial gyms after 6pm are unbearable now. Half the workout becomes waiting for equipment.

Morning training helps keep my diet cleaner too. Once I start the day productive I don’t wanna ruin it eating junk.

Good to see both sides honestly. I like evening workouts more performance-wise, but mornings seem way easier for consistency long term. Probably gonna give early training another shot.
