Struggling to Break Past My Deadlift Plateau
Been stuck at the same number for weeks now. Tried adding volume, tried lowering volume, nothing seems to click. What worked for you guys when your pull just refused to move?
Re: Struggling to Break Past My Deadlift Plateau

Re: Struggling to Break Past My Deadlift Plateau
Keep them around 70–75% of your max. Just enough to tax you without frying recovery.

Honestly, backing off intensity for 3–4 weeks then ramping again usually resets progress.
Re: Struggling to Break Past My Deadlift Plateau
If your grip is slipping, no amount of volume will help. Train grip or get straps for accessory work.

Sumo pulled for 6 months, went back to conventional, PR’d easy. Sometimes a switch keeps things fresh.
