Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
I used to think getting stronger meant constantly testing heavier weights. With more time under the bar I realized consistent technique, smart progression and recovery matter just as much I started focusing more on quality working sets and less on chasing numbers every session. The biggest progress came when I treated strength as a long-term process.
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
Technique was a game changer for me better positioning made my lifts much more consistent.

I stopped maxing out so often my progress actually became steadier.
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
Sleep makes a huge difference when the weights get heavy.
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
Videoing my lifts helped me spot technical issues I didn’t feel during the set.

I learned that accessory work matters when you have a specific weak point.
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
Deloads felt unnecessary at first but they helped me come back stronger.
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
Small weight increases worked better for me than big jumps
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
I track my lifts now & seeing six months of progress keeps me motivated.
Re: Powerlifting What Actually Builds Strength?
Good bracing changed my squat and deadlift more than I expected.
