Do You Follow Your Program Exactly?

Post by JemiPack5 »

I stick to it about 90% of the time. The other 10% depends on how crowded the gym is. 😂

Lmao same. 😂 Crowded gym = program goes out the window.

I’m pretty strict with the big lifts, but accessories are fair game. If the cable station is packed, I’m not standing there staring at it for 15 minutes waiting for my turn.

That’s exactly me. I’ll protect the important stuff and improvise the rest.

Probably 90/10 for me too. Sets and progression stay consistent, exercises can change. Gotta work with what you’ve got.

Depends on the day honestly. Some days I’m locked in with the spreadsheet, other days I’m just trying to find an open bench. 😂

I used to be way too rigid about it. Now I keep 1–2 alternatives for every major movement. Makes a packed gym way less annoying.

Bro if someone is doing their 14th set on the only squat rack, I’m changing the program. 😭

I care more about getting the intended work done than checking every box exactly as written. If the substitute gives me a similar stimulus, I’m calling it good and moving on.

Yep 😂. The program is a guideline, not a contract. As long as I’m progressing and getting quality work in, I’m happy.
