For me, the interesting part is finding out what U.S. gym-goers are actually using consistently, rather than what looks impressive on a supplement shelf. Is your stack built around proven basics, convenience, personal experience, or the latest fitness trend?

With so many new supplements, pre-workouts, hydration products, creatine options, and performance boosters hitting the market, it’s easy to buy something because everyone at the gym is talking about it. But what actually earns a permanent spot in your stack?

Creatine is the one supplement I keep coming back to. Simple, affordable, and easy to fit into my routine.

I used to have a whole cabinet full of supplements

For me, protein powder isn't really about performance hype. It’s just an easy way to help me hit my protein goal when my meals fall short.
Re: Are You Building Your Supplement Stack Around Results or Hype?
That’s exactly what I mean. I’d rather have three products I actually use consistently than spend money on ten different things because they’re trending.

Electrolytes have become a regular part of my summer workouts. When I’m sweating heavily, especially during longer sessions, having something for hydration is convenient.
Re: Are You Building Your Supplement Stack Around Results or Hype?
Pre-workout is where I’ve learned the hard way that more stimulation doesn't automatically mean a better workout. Some of the high-stim stuff has me feeling like my heart is trying to PR before I even touch a barbell
.
Re: Are You Building Your Supplement Stack Around Results or Hype?
Honestly, my stack is pretty boring: creatine, protein when I need it, coffee before training sometimes, and a decent diet. Boring works.
Re: Are You Building Your Supplement Stack Around Results or Hype?
Same here. I’m much more interested in consistency now than chasing the newest “breakthrough” supplement every few weeks.
Re: Are You Building Your Supplement Stack Around Results or Hype?
I think convenience deserves more attention. If a supplement is easy to take before work, at the gym, or while traveling, I’m way more likely to stick with it.
