What’s one small fitness habit that made the biggest difference in your life?

I've been thinking about how fitness isn't always about following the perfect workout plan or hitting a specific number on the scale. Sometimes it's the small habits we build into our daily lives that actually make the biggest difference.
For me, it's been trying to stay active even on days when I don't have time for a full workout. A short walk, taking the stairs, or simply getting up and moving around during the day seems to help more than I expected.
What's one simple fitness or lifestyle habit that you've started doing regularly that has genuinely made a difference for you?

Walking every day. It's simple, but it really works for me. 🚶‍♂️

Sleep. I started going to bed at roughly the same time every night, and my energy, recovery, and workouts all improved.

Mine would be drinking more water. I didn't realize how often I was feeling tired or reaching for snacks when I was actually just dehydrated. Once I started carrying a water bottle everywhere, it became much easier to stay consistent.

I can definitely relate to the sleep comments. I used to focus almost entirely on training and nutrition, but lately I've realized that recovery is just as important. Even a great workout doesn't feel the same when you're constantly tired.

I started taking a 20–30 minute walk after dinner. Nothing intense, but I've been doing it almost every day and it has become one of my favorite habits.

Meal prepping on Sundays completely changed my routine. Having healthy food ready means I don't have to make decisions when I'm exhausted after work.

Consistency over perfection. That's it.

Mine is putting my phone away during workouts. I used to spend way too much time scrolling between sets, so I started leaving it in my locker. Now I finish my workouts faster and feel much more focused.

Some really good answers here. It's interesting how most of these habits aren't extreme at all. I think that's probably the key—small things that you can actually maintain every day eventually add up to something much bigger.
