Strength going up but still look the same… normal or nah?

My numbers are finally moving adding weight almost every week but when I look in the mirror, not seeing much change yet. Kinda messing with my head a bit. For those who’ve been at it longer, how long did it take before you actually started noticing real physique changes?

That’s pretty normal tbh. Strength usually comes back/comes up faster than visual changes. Muscle takes way longer to actually show.

If the scale isn’t moving much, you’re probably just recomping a bit. Getting stronger, filling out glycogen, but not enough time yet to see size.

Took me like a solid 6–8 weeks before I looked noticeably different, and even then it was subtle. Progress pics helped more than mirror checks.

Honestly mirror lies to you daily. Lighting, pump, all that plays a role. One good gym day and you’ll think you grew overnight 😂

Yeah that makes sense. Strength is definitely improving so I guess I just need to chill and give it more time. Hard not to expect faster changes though.

As long as you’re progressing in lifts and eating right, you’re good. Real visible changes are more like months, not weeks.

Keep doing what you’re doing. One day you’ll randomly look in the mirror and be like oh damn okay it sneaks up on you.
