I hurt my shoulder a few months ago while pressing. It feels better now, but I’m nervous to go heavy again. If you’ve dealt with a shoulder injury, what helped you come back safely and feel confident again?

Start lighter than you think you need to. Ego is what gets most shoulders re-injured.

Bands and high-rep warmups helped me a ton. Get blood in there before you even touch real weight.

I switched to dumbbells for a while. Felt way more natural and easier on the joints than barbell pressing.

Don’t skip rear delts and upper back work. Strong back = happier shoulders.

Yeah I definitely think I rushed it the first time. Gonna focus on lighter weight, more control and building back slow instead of trying to prove something.

Tempo reps helped me rebuild confidence. Slow on the way down, pause, then press. Way better control.

Also pay attention to pain vs soreness. Slight discomfort is normal coming back, sharp pain is your sign to back off. Play the long game, bro.
