Seeing more lifters adding collagen daily. Did it help with elbows/knees or is it just marketing?

Didn’t notice much at first, but after a few weeks my elbows felt less cranky on push days. Not magic, but helped a bit.

I think collagen works better if you’re already eating enough protein. Added it mostly for joints, not gains.

Placebo or not, my knees feel better when I’m consistent with it. I’ll take that over popping ibuprofen.

I tried it solo and felt nothing. Started taking it with vitamin C like people suggest, and it actually made a difference.

Wouldn’t rely on it alone. Good warmups, lighter volume weeks and sleep did more for my joints than any supplement.

It’s not hype, but it’s not a miracle either. Think of it as joint support, not joint repair.

Sounds like it’s more of a support supplement than a fix-all. I’ll give it a shot alongside better recovery habits and see how it goes.
