Sleep and Recovery How Much Does It Really Matter?

I get around 5–6 hours of sleep on weekdays but train consistently. People keep saying I’m killing my gains. Is sleep really that big of a deal if diet and training are on point?

Bro, sleep is the real anabolic. You can’t out-train bad sleep. Your recovery hormones spike while you’re out cold.

Same boat here. I work nights so 5–6 hours are max I get. Still making progress but slower than before, no doubt.

Yeah, I feel decent but sometimes my strength just flatlines midweek. Maybe catching up on weekends isn’t enough.

It’s not. Sleep debt builds up. Try short naps during the day even 30 mins helps.

Once I started sleeping 7–8 hours, I stopped getting sick and recovery felt 2x faster. No supplement can replace that.

Set a bedtime alarm, man. Treat it like training discipline. Makes a big difference.

Caffeine too late in the day might be messing with you. Cut it off after noon.
