⚠️ Overtraining Signs: When to Chill

Post by RecoveryPro »

Fatigue, stalled lifts, cranky mood—spotting overtraining is key.
What clues tell you to back off, and how do you recover?

I kept getting colds—like 3 times in 2 months—before I realized I was overtraining.
Now I back off when I feel run down.

Stalled lifts scream overtraining! Hit a wall at 405 deads—took 5 days off, came back stronger. Rest is gold.

I’m new and feel wiped after 5 days a week—normal or too much? I don’t even wanna lift anymore.

FlexNewb, that’s a sign— I lost gym mojo once.
Dropped to 3 days, slept more,
and it fixed me up fast.

Crankiness is my cue—overtrained last summer and yelled at my cat! Deloaded to 50% volume for a week—mood and lifts recovered.

Why am I so tired?
Been at it 6 weeks, 4 days a week—legs won’t stop aching. Is this bad?

GymNoob22, aching legs nonstop isn’t great—try 3 days max. I cut back when I felt that and saw gains again.

Man, I was a zombie—dragging through workouts, no gains, just blah.
Figured out I was overdoing it—3 days off and bam, I’m alive again.
Anyone else crash like that?

I’m so wiped lately— 5 days a week too much?
Feel like I’m failing at this lifting thing.

How do you tell it’s overtraining?
