My shoulders ache every time I overhead press—stuck at 65 lbs.
Am I doing something wrong?

FitFamTom, check your grip!
I had pain ‘til I narrowed it—thumbs just outside shoulders. Eased the ache big time.

Elbow position’s key—keep ‘em under the bar, not flared.
I warm up with face pulls too—keeps my shoulders solid even at 135 lbs.

I wobble like crazy on OHP— bar’s only 45 lbs! How do I stay steady? Feels sketchy.

RippedRookie, brace your core—tighten it like you’re about to get punched.
Try seated OHP with a backrest first—builds stability.

Dumbbells saved my shoulders—barbell OHP kept clicking.
Plus, lateral raises as accessory—way less strain now.

Clicking shoulders here too! 65 lbs feels heavy—
should I stop or push through?
Scared of injury.

FlexNewb, clicking’s often scapular positioning—pull your shoulder blades down and back.
Fixed mine that way. Don’t push if it hurts—lighten up.

Rear delt flyes are my OHP hack! Strengthens the back—no more wobble at 95 lbs. Anyone else do these?
