Layers are king. I wear a compression base, thermal middle, and windproof outer shell. Gloves with grip dots help a lot for kettlebell work. No excuses

Thermal leggings + insulated shorts over them. Also use trail-running shoes with spikes. Avoid cotton! It gets soggy and cold fast.

Tried deadlifts on a snow-covered deck once. Bar froze to my hands

Pro tip: keep a thermos with warm water to pour over the bar before sets. Works like magic.

I run circuits at the park with resistance bands.
I double-sock and wear heated insoles. My dog joins, so it keeps me moving!

Liam, same! I pre-warm dumbbells on a heater pad in my garage, then run outside to lift.
For grip: apply liquid chalk before you step out – it freezes slower than regular.

It’s -15°C here some days. I train with bodyweight only when it’s that cold. Pull-ups on monkey bars, push-ups with gloves.

I wrap my barbell in foam pipe insulation to keep it from freezing. Also, ski mask + beanie combo for the win.
Music helps fight the “I wanna go back inside” voice

Anyone tried those reusable heat packs in pockets? I slide one into each glove and boom – grip restored.

@Dan, yes! I tape one behind my neck too. Feels like a mini sauna under all the gear
