I used to focus more on adding weight than checking my technique recording a few sets and reviewing my form helped me spot mistakes I wouldn't notice otherwise. Getting feedback from experienced lifters or a qualified coach can also help you improve safely. Sometimes fixing a small mistake is more useful than adding another plate.

Recording my squats from the side helped me notice things I couldn't see in the mirrordefinitely worth trying.

Getting a coach to check my deadlift setup made me much more confident with heavier weights.

Sometimes a lighter weight exposes form issues that heavier sets can hide i use lighter sets to practise whenever needed🏋️

I've learned that asking someone experienced for feedback isn't embarrassing it can save you a lot of guesswork in the long run.
