What’s Your Biggest Aesthetic Goal Right Now—Size, Shape, or Symmetry? 💪

Everyone has a different definition of an aesthetic physique. Some people are chasing more overall muscle, while others are focused on proportions, a wider V-taper, fuller shoulders, bigger arms, better legs, or simply looking lean and athletic.
After spending time in the gym, you realize that adding more weight to the scale isn't always the answer. Sometimes improving one weak body part or bringing better balance to your physique can make a bigger visual difference.
What are you personally prioritizing right now—size, shape, symmetry, conditioning, or a combination?

Definitely symmetry for me.

I’m working on size, but I don’t want to sacrifice proportions just to get bigger. My goal is a fuller physique that still looks balanced from every angle.

Exactly! A bigger physique doesn't automatically mean a better-looking physique. Sometimes bringing up one lagging area completely changes the overall appearance.

V-taper is the goal right now. Bigger delts and lats, smaller-looking waist.

I’m focusing on my upper chest because it’s easily my weakest area. I’ve added more incline pressing and I’m finally starting to see some difference.

For me, it’s conditioning right now. I’ve already built a decent amount of muscle, so I’m more interested in getting leaner while keeping as much strength and muscle as possible. I want the definition to actually show without feeling like I’m constantly exhausted or sacrificing my performance in the gym.

Size, honestly

. I’ve spent enough time trying to stay shredded. Now I want to actually build some serious muscle and worry about getting lean later.

That’s a solid approach if it fits your goals. I think the key is having a plan instead of constantly switching between gaining and cutting every few weeks.

Shoulders. Always shoulders.
