Anyone tried pairing 5/3/1 with CrossFit-style metcons after main lifts? Curious about hybrid benefits.

@GraceReps tried that during a mini cut—worked well but drained my CNS fast. Had to keep intensity low.

Logbook all the way. Writing it down makes it feel earned.

Spreadsheets. I color-code my cycles. Nerdy but it keeps me accountable.

I use an app (Strong). Easy to track PRs and deload weeks.

Speaking of deloads—how often do you all take one? I sometimes skip unless I’m wrecked.

Every 6th week like clockwork. I treat it as active recovery.
