Deadlift form is my biggest focus right now. I record some of my working sets to check my setup and bar path, especially when the weight starts getting challenging. It's helped me catch mistakes I don't always feel during the rep. 📹

All three. Heavy weight exposes lazy technique fast. 💯

I used to think form meant making every lift look exactly the same as somebody else's. Now I understand that individual proportions and mobility can affect how a good rep looks. I still focus on consistent technique, control, and a stable setup, but I don't force myself into a position that doesn't fit my body just because it's popular online. The goal is to lift effectively and keep progressing.

This is something I think a lot of lifters can relate to. Social media makes it easy to compare your technique with somebody else's, but learning what works for your own build and experience level seems much more useful than copying every detail.

For me, bench press form became a bigger priority once I started lifting heavier. I paid more attention to my upper-back position, keeping my feet planted, and controlling the bar instead of bouncing through reps. I still want to get stronger, but I don't want to sacrifice control just to add another plate. Good technique gives me confidence when the weight gets serious. 💪

Squat depth and bracing. If those aren't solid, I don't add weight.

I think the lift that deserves the most form attention is the one you're weakest at technically. My deadlift is naturally stronger than my squat, so I spend more time working on squat mechanics and recording sets to see where I lose position.

One thing I've learned is that form attention shouldn't stop once you become experienced. Strong lifters can still develop bad habits when fatigue builds up or they start chasing a PR. I like keeping a few technique cues in mind for every lift, whether it's bracing on squats, a stable setup on bench, or resetting properly before a deadlift. Strength matters, but being able to repeat quality reps over time is what keeps training moving forward. 🔥
