I hit most muscles twice weekly, but I don’t force the schedule if recovery is trash. If my strength is moving up and I’m recovering between sessions, I stay with it; if performance starts dropping, I back off the volume before adding another day.

For me, weekly quality sets matter more than blindly chasing frequency. I’d rather train a muscle twice with focused, hard sets than show up four times and fill the workout with junk volume just because I think “more” automatically means “better.”

I’m doing PPL six days a week right now, but I don’t make every workout a death session. Some days are heavier and strength-focused, while others are more controlled hypertrophy work with slower reps and good execution. That setup has been giving me plenty of stimulus while keeping recovery manageable.

I’m at twice per week for almost everything, with legs getting a little extra attention because they’re lagging. Tracking my weekly sets and strength progression has helped me figure out what actually works instead of just copying somebody else’s split.
