I’d build mine around full-body movements instead of isolations. Deadlifts, overhead press, pull-ups, kettlebell cleans, and walking lunges would hit pretty much everything while keeping the heart rate up.

I’m adding the sled. Every time. No excuses.

For me, the best challenge would be one where you can actually measure improvement. Track total rounds, reps, distance, or time, then repeat it a few weeks later. Beating your previous score is way more motivating than simply saying you “had a hard workout.”

That’s probably the biggest thing I want from this—something measurable. If I can come back a month later and beat my rounds or time, that feels like real progress instead of just chasing soreness.

I’d finish with 20 minutes of zone 2 cardio and call it a day. Recovery matters too.

Honestly, I’d make it a balanced session: heavy compound lift, moderate-rep accessory work, then 10–15 minutes of conditioning. That way you get the strength stimulus, a legit sweat, and some stamina work without turning Saturday into a three-hour gym session. Weekend warrior, not weekend casualty.
