Our gym should honestly do something like this. A month-long challenge would give people something to look forward to besides the usual Monday-through-Friday routine.

The consistency category would probably be my favourite because showing up week after week is where most people actually struggle. You don’t have to win every event to prove that you’re making progress.

Same here. I’d definitely include a consistency award alongside the performance awards. The person who never misses a challenge workout and keeps improving deserves some recognition too. It could make the whole thing feel more like a gym community event instead of just another competition.

This would get competitive FAST.

I’d love a final challenge day where everybody gets together, teams compete, and the scores actually mean something. Having your friends cheering while you’re trying to finish that last round would make the atmosphere completely different.

Honestly, I think these are the challenges that keep people motivated because there’s a clear goal, a little friendly competition, and a reason to track your progress. Even if you don’t win, walking away stronger and fitter than when you started is still a win.
