Mobility became a huge part of my definition. I ignored stretching and movement quality for years because I only cared about adding plates to the bar. Now being able to squat comfortably, move my shoulders properly, and train without constantly feeling stiff is a major win.

Mine changed from “How do I look?” to “What can my body actually do?” That one change made training way more enjoyable. 🔥

For me, fitness is now about balance. I want enough strength to feel capable, enough conditioning to handle cardio or outdoor activities, enough mobility to move freely, and enough discipline to stay consistent. I don’t need every workout to be perfect anymore—I just want to keep showing up.

I’ve also stopped thinking that being fit means never having an off day. Sometimes the smartest fitness decision is taking a rest day, getting extra sleep, going for an easy walk, or simply giving your body a break. Recovery is part of the process too. 💤
