Re: 💪 Training Hard Without Getting Beat Up: What’s Your Best Injury-Prevention Habit?
I pay attention to how I feel before every session instead of blindly following the program. If my joints feel rough or my performance is dropping, I'll adjust the load or volume rather than forcing another PR. Training smart keeps me progressing without burning out.

Re: Have You Changed Your Workout Split Recently? What Happened? 🏋️♂️🔥
I recently moved from bro split to upper/lower because hitting each muscle only once a week wasn't working great for me. Now I get more practice with my main lifts, and it's easier to track progressive overload without making every workout ridiculously long.

Mobility work, an easy walk, and a solid night's sleep. Simple stuff adds up.

Proportion, for sure. Big delts and a wide back make a huge difference.

I stop chasing PRs and focus on quality reps for a bit.

Magnesium for me. Sleep is too important to ignore.

Re: 🏋️ How Has Your Strength Changed Since the Start of 2026?
The mental side has changed too. Heavy sets don’t intimidate me like they used to because I trust my setup and know what a strong rep should feel like. That confidence under the bar makes a difference.

PPL has been my go-to for a couple years now. I like having dedicated days for each muscle group because I can focus on pushing my working sets hard without rushing through the session.

Re: Peak Week or Meet Week: What’s Your Most Important Preparation Strategy? 🏋️♂️🔥
I’m with you on keeping things predictable. I think a lot of lifters get caught up trying something new at the last minute when they’d probably feel better sticking with what has already worked for them. Recovery and staying mentally calm are huge for me too.
