Re: Which Supplement Do You Think Is Overhyped in 2026?
I'd say expensive testosterone-boosting supplements sold over the counter. The marketing makes them sound like they'll transform your strength, recovery, and physique overnight, but the results usually don't match those promises. I'd rather put that money toward groceries, a gym membership, or ...

Re: What’s Your Most Underrated Progress Metric? 📊💪
Bar speed is my underrated metric. When a weight that used to move slowly starts flying up with clean technique, I know my strength is improving, even if I haven’t added another plate yet.

Re: Run, Lift, Regret: Who Signed Us Up for This? 😂💀
Running before heavy squats humbled me real quick. My legs were already tired before I even touched the working sets, and every rep felt twice as hard. Now I plan my cardio around my main lifts instead of trying to go all-out on everything.

I bought a pair of adjustable dumbbells last year, and they've handled almost everything in my routine. Curls, presses, rows, lunges—you name it. They're a solid choice when you're trying to build a home gym on a budget.

Re: Strength vs. Conditioning: Which Team Runs the Gym?
I’m team strength, but I’ve learned not to completely ignore conditioning. Heavy compounds are still the priority for me, but adding some incline walking and short conditioning work keeps my recovery between sets way better. I don’t need to become a marathon runner, I just want my engine to match my ...

Re: 🏋️ Strong but Beat Up? Could Your Lifting Technique Be the Missing Piece?
A lot of lifters think technique means lifting light forever, but that’s not really the point. You can still push heavy weight while keeping your setup, bracing, bar path, and range of motion consistent. Once I stopped treating every working set like a max attempt, my recovery got noticeably better t ...

Medium I'd say go for it once your technique is consistent. You don't need to be the strongest person in the room to get something out of competing.

Re: PPL, Upper/Lower, or Full Body—What’s Giving You the Best Results? 🏋️♂️🔥
I’m currently running PPL six days a week, and the extra frequency has been solid for hypertrophy. I keep an eye on fatigue, though, because more gym days don’t automatically mean better gains. If my performance starts dropping, I adjust the volume instead of forcing every session.
